As the lead designer, I was responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and the final mockups. I played a key role throughout the entire process, from the discovery phase to the final implementation. My work ensured that the design aligned with user needs, making the platform more intuitive and providing a streamlined experience for accessing real-time intelligence. By closely collaborating with the development and analyst teams, I helped to bridge the gap between the users' needs and the internal processes, contributing to a more efficient and user-friendly solution.
A Strong foundation
I led the development of a new design system from 0 to 1 and used it to build a new product platform Ignite. This system paved the way for the entire organization as teams leveraged the system to quickly build functionality to successfully migrate users to the new platform.
I started by establishing a robust foundation:
Visual language
Design Tokens/Variables
Scaling system for space and icons
Core components
Robust Figma library with 1:1 alignment with engineering
This allowed the teams to build new consistent products while having flexibility to iterate and define new patterns. By leading the organization through this entire process from concept to launch, we were able to maintain a remarkable 90% adoption rate.
In addition to owning the design system, I am the lead designer on the platform team. I was a major contributor to the overall direction of the platform and ensured that the design standards were being met during development.
For my latest project I focused on enhancing app collaboration and boosting customer retention. Through feedback sessions and using Fullstory for customer insights, the product team and I discovered that users wanted the option to gather our vast data in a centralized location. This would enable them to work together with their teams and integrate Ignite more effectively into their workflows. After many iterations and user interviews, we landed on a version 1 of the product which has been released in beta. Since then, beta access requests has outpaced our expectations and we are on track for a successful launch.
